As an Associate, you'll be responsible for:

  • Preparing and reviewing monthly Excel financial statements and other analyses for client
    families (including, but not limited to net worth statements and graphs, family org charts,
    asset allocations, investment performance reporting, investment implementation, margin
    analyses, family directories, spending and expenditure summaries and graphs, cash flows, estate and gift tax calculations, education funding, and other customized exhibits)
  • Preparing meeting books
  • Attending client meetings
  • Collecting and organizing tax data to complete tax organizers, assisting clients in quarterly
    estimated payments, reviewing returns, and working closely with outside accountants.
  • Establishing relationships with family’s other advisors, such as accountants, attorneys,
    custodians, banks, investment advisors, insurance agents, employee benefits personnel, and others, and working with them to achieve a high level of quality service to the family.
  • Preparing wires, investment and other types of account opening paperwork, including
    subscription documents, for various investments
  • Auditing financial records and performing due diligence on current and prospective investments
  • Providing family household payroll and bill payment services, as needed
  • Performing general office duties,including printing, assembling and binding meeting books, preparation of letters along with mailing and shipping envelopes, scanning, and other miscellaneous tasks
  • Most importantly, becoming a fiduciary for the family, and looking out for their best

The goal of this hire is a permanent position. It is a temporary position initially, with an
expected temporary employment period of three months, during which TMG Family Office may opt
to either: terminate, extend the temporary position, or offer a permanent position.


The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Series 65 or CFP® is preferred, but not required
  • Candidate must be proficient at Excel, and possess very good math skills
  • Prior experience at a family office is not a necessity. We want to add someone who is very detail oriented and a good self-reviewer, sharp, good with numbers, honest, good work ethic, and is a good personality fit for our team.
  • A motivated, self-starter looking for a place to grow your career
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
