As they continue to expand their national footprint with offices in multiple states, they seek a Senior Wealth Advisor. As the main point of contact, will actively communicate with clients on a daily basis, providing advice on cash flows/tax planning strategies, estate/insurance issues, identify investment goals/retirement planning needs and implement recommendations with assistance of support staff. In addition, this position will meet with referrals in their territory and effectively close sales with the support of a leading financial planning team.

about THE POSITION

As an IT Systems Associate, you will be responsible for working with the outside IT managed service provider (MSP) to support our fast-paced, growing business, helping establish and drive decision-making related to technology solutions, and supporting back-office operational and technology processes.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assisting in maintaining 3rd party technology data integrations
  • Assisting MSP with new employee onboarding, account creation, workstation procurement, workstation setup, etc.
  • Working with transition team to integrate systems and applications, related to M&A transactions
  • Maintaining and tracking TMG internal IT inventory and shared resources
  • Supporting and maintaining data integrity across all firm databases
  • Assisting and troubleshooting employee internal system and application issues, in conjunction with MSP and external IT vendors
  • Provide maintenance, support, and testing for various platforms/processes
  • Analyzing proof-of-concept and prototype solutions and assessing viability and scalability of proposed solutions, as required based on changing business needs
  • Building robust systems and integrations, focusing on long-term/ongoing maintenance and support
  • Working with Operations and Technology team members to accomplish organizational goals and objectives through implementation of improved/automated processes and deeper integrations
  • Creating and maintaining detailed documentation across software applications (instruction guides, internal policies, procedures, compliance requests)
  • Working collaboratively to support internal departments and committees in making better informed decisions, consistent with firm’s long-term vision and strategy
  • Managing and maintaining internal telephone systems and applications
  • Maintaining and continuing to build technical competence by keeping up-to-date on industry developments and technical authorities
  • Assisting in ad-hoc projects to improve firm operational efficiency and fulfill compliance requirements
  • Assisting in the discovery, deployment, customization, and post-implementation troubleshooting of new systems and applications
  • Helping firm build sound operational processes related to trading, technology, and back-office functions
  • Structuring and prioritizing business requirements and communicating plans with stakeholders for review and approval
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business (Finance, Economics, Accounting), Management Information Systems (MIS), or a Technology/Computer-related field preferred
  • 0-2 years professional experience
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving and process improvement skills
  • Flexible and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment, with continuously changing business needs
  • Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership and accountability of all responsibilities
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize in a changing, fast-paced team environment
  • Able to manage time effectively and work collaboratively across various departments
  • Basic project management skills a plus
  • Previous experience with Box, RingCentral, Salesforce, DUO, KnowBe4, Pardot a plus
  • Solid understanding of systems/databases used within the firm and their inter-dependencies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel), databases, and other software programs
