As the main point of contact, will actively communicate with clients on a daily basis, providing advice on cash flows/tax planning strategies, estate/insurance issues, identify investment goals/retirement planning needs and implement recommendations with assistance of support staff. In addition, this position will meet with referrals in their territory and effectively close sales with the support of a leading financial planning team.

about THE POSITION

The Marketing Manager will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and assist with executing a wide variety of marketing and communications initiatives to support the firm’s continued growth. We are seeking someone with experience in, and a passion for learning more about, digital marketing, who will also be happy to contribute wherever needed.

You will be responsible for:

  • Contributing to the development and execution of a comprehensive digital marketing strategy. Includes working with CMO to synchronize efforts across owned, earned, social, and paid media, as well as helping to define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators.
  • Collaborating on the development and maintenance of collateral and content. Includes assisting with recurring updates to existing materials and developing new materials, working with colleagues throughout the firm as needed.
  • Managing our marketing automation platform (Pardot). Includes maintaining current protocol by creating and sending emails for approved content & communications, managing distribution lists, monitoring engagement and analytics, and producing reports. Also includes implementing enhancements to our current protocol by building campaigns and leveraging analytics to improve lead scoring methodology and email practices.
  • Maintaining social media profiles. Includes managing company profile updates, posting approved content, and collaborating with CMO on ideas to enhance social media presence.
  • Assisting with website maintenance and enhancements. Includes utilizing current CMS platform to make updates to existing site (new employees, job postings, articles, etc.), helping to prepare for and participate in the development and launch of new website, and making updates to the new site via the new CMS.
  • Coordinating client and prospect events. Includes scheduling, related internal and external communications, and venue/catering logistics.
  • Developing employee-specific communications. Includes writing and maintaining employee bios, writing internal new hire announcements, creating team bio documents, etc.
  • Coordinating print collateral orders. Includes branded stationery (letterhead and various envelopes) for all offices and business cards for all employees.
  • Contributing to other projects as needed.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-10 years of related experience, including experience with Salesforce and Pardot, ideally as a Pardot administrator
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
  • Exceptional organizational and time/project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks or projects at the same time
  • Strong writing skills and command of English grammar with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and craft eloquent communications
  • Interpersonal skills that demonstrate professionalism and emotional intelligence
  • Keen attention to detail balanced with an ability to grasp the big picture
  • Service-oriented mentality, entrepreneurial spirit, and positive attitude
  • Self-motivation, resourcefulness, and accountability with the ability to work independently and deliver on commitments
