WEALTH ADVISOR (LAFAYETTE-SAN FRANCISCO)
TMG's Wealth Advisor role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our clients' financial lives while advancing your career in a dynamic entrepreneurial and collaborative team environment. As the trusted advisor, you will provide expert guidance on asset allocation, cash flow, and retirement strategies, ensuring each client's financial future is secure.
This specific role also offers the opportunity to serve as a leader to our Lafayette team, cultivating relationships and driving engagement across various functions and teams.
Specific role responsibilities
- Coordinate and drive the delivery of TMG's wealth planning services and resources to benefit our clients (investment, tax, estate planning, etc.).
- Through a robust discovery process, identify and prioritize key planning needs and objectives; determine short and long-term deliverables and develop a plan to accomplish them.
- Prepare tailored financial planning analyses for clients, creating presentation materials to effectively communicate recommendations.
- Lead and conduct client meetings in a cadence that aligns with TMG's client service model.
- Serve as a leader in our Lafayette office, ensuring transparency, effective communication, and driving a culture of engagement.
- Manage the client experience by methodically liaising with investment and tax colleagues and service teams.
- Drive new business through existing client referrals.
- Oversee the building and ongoing management of client portfolios.
- Participate in Wealth Advisor training and implement best practices.
- Continuously reinforce TMG's value proposition - you don't get one Advisor, you get TMG.
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Financial Planning, or Consumer Economics
- CFP® designation required
- A track record of cultivating and sustaining high-net-worth client relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and willingness to play a role in leading a region
- An entrepreneurial spirit
- Promote collaboration and build relationships internally, across various functions (tax, trading, investment, client service, etc.)
- Organized and detail oriented while managing and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Acute attention to detail
Compensation
- Base Salary: $175,000 - $250,000, plus variable incentive compensation
