CLIENT SERVICES ASSOCIATE
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Client Services Associate to join our dynamic client services team. This individual will be responsible for providing support to advisors and clients on the West Coast while collaborating with a dynamic, nationwide Client Services team.
This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proactive approach to delivering exceptional service.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide exceptional and timely client service and flawless execution on client and prospective client requests, inquiries, and transactions and providing solutions where appropriate.
- Act as a point of contact for all client interactions, working with internal business partners to ensure a timely and accurate response to all client questions and concerns.
- Manage account transition and opening process for new and existing clients.
- Collect and populate account-specific information, organizing executed documentation from clients, researching and resolving issues with missing/incomplete information, security/cash transfers, etc.
- Manage daily work volumes and transactions accurately across multiple custodians, within established deadlines, and in accordance with existing policies and procedures.
- Research, follow up, and escalate client issues and problems through effective interaction with clients and internal business partners in a timely and professional manner.
- Effectively collaborating with respective client-facing teams and internal business groups to deliver and execute client transactions with a common goal of providing exceptional service.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects to improve firm operational efficiency and fulfill compliance requirements.
- Deliver effective written and verbal communication to financial advisors, internal departments, and firm leaders.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by your manager and work closely with team members on designated projects.
- Keep up to date on custodial processes and rules and regulations under compliance.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a client service role at a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A motivated, self-starter looking for a place to grow your career

ROLE INFORMATION
- Location: Lafayette, CA
- Role Information: Full-Time (Hybrid)
- Reports to: Dawn Cornwall; Managing Director, Client Services
- Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000*, plus 8% annual individual bonus opportunity; and opportunity to participate in TMG’s Management Incentive Program (MIP)
*Final base salary offer will reflect experience and review of internal team equity.
